Language
Grammar, punctuation, and word choice that markers notice. Also the task words students must follow (analyse, compare, evaluate).

- •Common EAL grammar patterns
- •Quote integration and referencing in school style
Speaking
Oral presentations, group discussion, and reading aloud — the speaking work Year 7–10 English often grades.

- •Pace, volume, and eye contact
